Batala Mundo is a project initiated in Paris in 1997, which today has 46 active groups in 17 countries around the world. Apart from Batala Paris created by Giba Gonçalves, all the groups were created on the initiative of people who wanted to be part of this adventure. The two most recent were created in Natal in Brazil and in Madrid in Spain.
